ik ben 8 dagen overtijd en dan wordt je in de VS ingeleid. Dus naar het ziekenhuis

I am 8 days late and that means I am going to be induced. So, to the hospital

Natuurlijk gaat het niet helemaal volgens plan en Sas ligt na een half uur al op haar zij omdat de baby (nu noemen we hem nog baby) geen zuurstof krijgt. Ook krijg ik al weeen, niet helemaal de bedoeling.

It is not going according to plan, and after half an hour I am on my side because the baby (we still call him baby at this point) doesn't get oxygen. I am having contractions, this was not planned till the 27th.

De dokter neemt de beslissing om een spoedkeizersnede te doen, omdat we niet weten of zuurstof tekort op langere termijn invloed zal hebben. Brandon is er klaar voor.

The doctor makes the call for an emergency c-section. It is not sure if the baby will be affected if he doesn't get oxygen at the contractions. Brandon is ready

We bellen de niets vermoedende opa's en oma's om 1 uur 's nachts wakker en die zijn er allen binnen het uur

We call the surprised grandparents at 1 am and they are all there within the hour

Hugo heeft een glucose probleempje en wordt opgenomen op de Nicu. Dat is wel ff schrikken al die slangetjes. Brandon gaat 2 keer per nacht naar deze afdeling om Hugo de fles te geven

Hugo has a glucose problem and has to go to the Nicu. Brandon goes two times a night to feed Hugo his bottle

Paspop

Deborah Moebes heeft haar eigen kinder kledinglijn en wil ook zwangerschapskleding gaan ontwerpen. En aangezien ik met 39 weken toch wel een fikse buik heb gecreeerd, sta ik model voor paspop.

Een oud t-shirt en 3 rollen duck-tape later, en voila!

Deborah Moebes has her own childrens clothing line; Pretty Jane and wants to start her own maternity line. And because I have created quite a belly with my 39 weeks I am her model. An old t-shirt and 3 rolls of duck later..and voila

Dit is het eindresultaat. Nu moet het opgevuld worden met foam en kan ze aan de slag.
